She is the author of two books, "Surviving Columbine" (2004) and "The Christmas Stone" (2010). Most recently, Liz has written articles for CNN, The Daily Beast and The Huffington Post.  Liz has spoken to diverse groups across the country about her experiences at Columbine.

She attended Brigham Young University earning a bachelors degree in public relations as well as the University of Utah where she earned an MBA.  Liz is from Littleton, Colorado.
